Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Elite Catalogue uses cookies and similar technologies on https://elitecatalogue.com/. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage entries used to remember preferences such as cookie consent. They help the site function, keep choices, and - if you allow - understand aggregate traffic.
2. How we use cookies
2.1 Essential cookies
These are necessary for core storefront functions and security. They do not require consent under typical EU ePrivacy practice when strictly necessary, but we still disclose them here.
- ec_cookie_consent (localStorage) - stores whether you chose "Accept all" or "Essential only"
- Session continuity for form acknowledgement messages in the active tab
- Security and load-balancing cookies set by hosting infrastructure, if any
2.2 Analytics cookies (optional)
Used only if you click Accept all on the cookie banner. They help us understand which catalogue pages are viewed and how visitors navigate - in aggregate, not to sell a profile of you.
- Page-view and referrer metrics
- Device category and approximate region (not precise location)
If you choose Essential only, optional analytics cookies are not activated by our consent script.
3. Advertising cookies
This storefront does not set third-party advertising or retargeting cookies from social networks as part of the default cookie banner. Product feeds used for advertising platforms are managed separately and do not themselves place cookies on your device through this policy's banner.
4. Managing your choices
- Use the on-site banner the first time you visit (or after clearing site data)
- Clear site data / cookies for elitecatalogue.com in your browser to see the banner again
- Use browser controls to block or delete cookies globally
Blocking essential storage may affect remembering your consent choice, so the banner may reappear.
5. Retention
Consent stored in localStorage remains until you clear it or we change the consent version. Analytics identifiers, when enabled, follow the retention settings of the analytics tool we enable - typically 14 months or less for standard web analytics configurations.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when our tools or legal requirements change. Check the "Last updated" date above. Questions: hello@elitecatalogue.com.
